The 3 votes on our poll shows that Fantasy won! However, there was a vote on 'Just plain weird', so it will be a mixture! The first chapter will be updated by Friday!

BIG changes

I just updated this blog. I can't beleive it's been about 5 months since I've posted last. I've decided to change things up a bit, and since I write a little bit... I'm going to dedicate some of this site to that! I've changed just about everything about this place. I will still post like this, but I plan on posting a chapter every week. It's like my version of my sister's written adventures of my brother. I'm not including a link to it. I don't know why, but I am. Not. Going to.

So... Tada! I'm adding a poll to see what genre It's going to be. VOTE PLEASE!!!

It's New and it's Shiny

If you are a common reader of The Deacon Files (I don't why you would, I admit it, my blog stinks (or used to)), you would probably realize a new layout. If you are not, welcome to my Blog! It's New and It's Shiny! No more weird chypers at the bottom of each post that no one even notices or decode! If you want to know what the answers were, go over to the shiny pages bar and look at that (beware of cheesy illustrations). I feel I should put more effort into this. So I will!

Moving

I moved. Furthermore we had no Internet, and furthermore, no posts. Now that I live in a lower, warmer climate (at last), I can enjoy life again. I am also near my family. I already spent 2 AWESOME days with my niece (I think it was 2...). Anyway, now that we have Internet, I can post on my blog again!!

Jason's still gone... I miss him, and after a stressful move with a Georgian (The country, not the state) dude, and Jason's disappearance, It was a hard week. But going to the zoo with my niece made everything temporarily happier!!

Chin Face

Over the weekend we made a chin face. It turned out pretty cool, but it took at least 20 tries and at least 5 changes to their costume. My graduate sister is on the left, and my bro is on the right. The song is A Little Priest from Sweeney Todd. I got a few snapshots:

My sis looks like a little woman, a little pink flower in her hair. My bro looks like a bald headed man with huge eyes.

Her mouth gets really big sometimes.

Near the end her hair messes up so she looks a little creepy...

Congrats!!

     I just want to say congrats to my mom and my 2 sisters for graduating college. It was so fun to have you guys up here for the weekend!! Oh, and I got the pictures to work!!!!

     My niece is so AWESOME!!

My dad was a college professor, and he got to give the girls their diplomas!! So, congrats, and so long!

Official Deacon

I got the Aaronic Priesthood!!!! I am now an official deacon!!! Now the site is called 'The Deacon Files'. I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [I don't know why, but I am =)] Also, i will put a code for no good reason at the end of every post. And they are all random and don't have to make any sense.

I The SECOND CLASS!!!

YEAH!! I just got my 2nd Class!!! (Well, more like a few days ago...) Now I only have to do my BSA swimmer test to get my 1st class...
Anyway, I get to go down to Salt Lake this weekend to go to my niece's 2nd birthday! I am so excited! We are leaving at 7, so I can't sleep in for long =( . Yeah... I just wanted to tell you... people that I am one step closer to getting my eagle.

Gullible

     Wow, It has been a long time since I posted, sorry 'bout that. Hope not to do that again. Anyway, I really don't like pranks. I don't get much played on me. But one of them, or a series of them, have to do with the word Gullible. Now what the heck does it mean?! I didn't know until tonight, at diner... So a guy walks up to you and says, "Did you know that the word Gullible is written on my shoe?" You would... (chose on of the following, be A, a guy who falls for things like this, B, who knows what is going to happen, or C, be like my brother)                                                                                                                                                          A: "Did you know that gullible is written on my shoe?" You look down and see the normal shoe. Bursts of laughter erupt from the crowd as your face turns red. You run into the restroom, curl up in a corner and cry. That was too depressing. I was going to make you get in a fistfight and broke your femur and stay in the hospital and go back to school only to find out that the bully is still cruel and you plan a mischievous plan to destroy him as well as mankind forever!! But that would mean, too long, and way sci-fi. What kid would be so cold-blooded? The Bully.                                                                                                B: "Did you know that gullible is written on my shoe?" You look up at the tall middle school kid standing in front of you. You say no. As you walk away, he says "What, are you afraid?" You look at him. Then, you took a deep breath. You look down at the normal shoe. Bursts of laughter erupt...
That was depressing too. I found myself tie all the stories together (wink wink) to make all of them consider their terrible plans in the lonely corner of the restroom.
   C: "Did you know that gullible is written on my shoe?"  You not only look down, you go down on you knees. you start to inspect the shoe on all sides. Without the bully noticing, you pull out the pen hidden in your black bow tie. You slowly write Gullible on the side of the shoe. Glancing up, you conceal the bow tie again and get up. You smile and say "Wow, you are right! There is the word gullible on your shoe!" You pass the kid as he pulls off his shoe and looks for the word. You can't help but smile to yourself. Yep, that's my brother (he likes bow ties).


     So, how was the quiz? If you are A then you are evil, very evil. If you are B then you can stand up to your enemies, but then you turn evil. If you are C than, well... bye.

Black Friday

     Hello again. I had nothing else to do so I decided to tell what happened yesterday, Black Friday. Well first off, we went shopping. It also was my dad's Birthday (in a few paragraphs I'll talk about him).
     We went on the ATV and tied sleds to it. When it was my sister's turn, Jenn,  I video taped the whole thing. They went into the back lot across the street and... got stuck on a snow drift. He, my brother Jake, couldn't move. Jenn got up and helped him, tried to pull the rope, but it didn't work. We called the other guy who was doing... whatever it is called that we were doing, and we finally got them loose. Now when my bro was on the sled and my sis was driving, she went off that drift, and she fell off. Well, almost fell out. The only thing that was left on was her leg. When we went back home, we had this really good candy cane flavored hot chocolate stuff. IT WAS SOOOO GOOD!! Anyway we basically spent the rest of the day doing nothing.
     Back to my dad, he is such a good guy. I wish I can verbalize how much I love him. He is funny, cool, and just plain AWESOME!!  He loves to go fishing and hunting (I am kinda not so much an outdoors man). He has been married 25 years to the coolest mom ever. YOU ROCK DAD!!!!!

P.S. I am having some problems with uploading pictures and videos. If you don't like it, then... do something.

I The... Tenderfoot

Hi. I am Ryan living in a small town in the middle of somewhere, and in the state of whatever. I am however enjoying life somehow. I am in the Boy Scouts (practically the only productive thing I do).  I happen to be 11 (Only 104 days away... that's a lot). I am awesome. Anyway, join me when I... do whatever I do.
